What children can do to help

Birthday Parties: instead of each child bringing a gift, they could bring either monetary donations and or items from our wish list.

Lemonade Stands and Kool-Aid Stands: Make signs to let everyone know you are donating your proceeds to the SPCA.

Make and sell home made dog cookies: Sell them at church, school, or any club your child may belong to.
Peanut Butter Goodness Dog Treats
1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
1 1/2 cups white flour
1/2 cup peanut butter (all-natural or organic)
1 cup water
2 tablespoons oil
Preheat the oven to 350 F. Combine oil, peanut butter and water. Add flour, one cup at a time, forming a dough. Knead dough into firm ball and roll to 1/4 inch thickness.
Cut into 3 to 4 inch pieces. Place on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 F for 20 minutes. Makes 2 1/2 dozen cookies.
Prep time is about 20 minutes on these dog treats. And you'll feel rewarded when your dog thups his tail in appreciation! Dogs do love peanut butter!

Recycling: Kids can help save the earth and help the animals at the same time. They can collect cans, aluminum of any kind and sell it to the local recycling centers and donate the funds received.
